Quarter 1

The activity was learning about the coordinate plans. This was interesting to learn because I knew little about the topic. Mrs.V went throw this coordinate plane with her constent lectures that taught me a lot.

The purpose of this activity was to learn about coordinate planes. This is an important skill we will use all throw out are lives. We need coordinate planes from varies things such as charts for business, stock market charts and even picture charts.

I learned that a coordinate plane is formed by the intersection of horizontal number line called the x axis and a vertical number line called the y axis. The coordinate plane consists of 4 quadrants, quadrant 1, 2, 3, and 4. Quadrant 1 is all positive numbers, and quadrant two consists of positive and negative numbers. Quadrant 3 has only negative numbers and quadrant 4 consist of positive and negative numbers. I learned how to name the points on the coordinate plane throw Mrs V’s lectures.

I could have learned more about graphing coordinate plans if I looked up more information on the internet. I also could have done extra questions and learned more. Over all this was a fun and interesting and I enjoyed it.

This assignment didn’t relate to my goal.
